Education

Auburn University's Hospitality Program has given me a multifaceted perspective on the hospitality industry. The knowledge learned in the classroom will be transferrable to my future endeavors. This are a couple of the classes that have deepened my understanding of the industry.

This class taught me about proper preparation for applying for jobs. We had discussions and guidance on how to write a professional cover letter, a professional resume, and a mock interview. The feedback for improvements was helpful. The class gave insightful information on the tools needed for successfully acquiring a job.

This class taught me about the process of planning a two- day event through the lens of the FOH and the BOH. I learned and demonstrated  food cost analysis, recipe standardization,  food ordering, and the food production on a large scale.
