Experience
The hospitality industry is such a diverse field. To have a more rounded perspective on the industry, it is important to experience different sectors of the industry. Below I have included my experiences in the industry.

Moe's Original Bar B Que
Cashier
During the summer of 2019, I was a cashier at Moe' s Original Bar B Que in Trussville, Alabama. I was responsible for the opening shift, greeting and taking orders for walk in guests. I was also worked the drive thru, and I assisted with catering orders. I enjoyed learning how the FOH and BOH collaboration is important, especially during high volume hours. I also learned customer service skills.

Auburn University Campus Dining
Student Worker
During the spring of 2021, I was a student worker for Auburn University's Campus Dining. I was responsible for assessing the strengths and areas of growth of the dining facilities. I was also responsible for more participation in the secret shopper program. I co-lead and assisted in the formation of Campus Dining's Steering Committee. I learned about how dining facilities are managed on a college campus. It gave me another perspective on the industry.

During the summer of 2021, I was an intern at Springhouse in Alexander City, Alabama. I was responsible for the garde manager station. I assisted with prepping all cold apps. During service, my responsibilities were plating cold apps, a vegetarian entrée, and desserts. This was my first time working in a fine dining restaurant, and I am learned a lot about the importance of teamwork especially during high volume.
